TEAM IS FULL – WAITLIST ONLY

NEW YORK, NY, March 24, 2024—The Children’s Brain Tumor Project Foundation was named an Official Charity Partner for the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon, taking place on November 3. The CBTPF will be among the 550 official charity partners providing thousands of runners the opportunity to run in the world’s most popular marathon. For those interested in applying to run the NYC marathon with Team CBTP , please fill out the form below and we will email you within 24 hours.

Team CBTPF is the only charity team exclusively dedicated to funding pediatric brain tumor research at Weill Cornell Medicine.

“Our organization was created to give hope to all children diagnosed with brain tumors by funding the research at the Children’s Brain Tumor Project, Weill Cornell Medicine,” said Anthony Trimarchi, President, Children’s Brain Tumor Project Foundation. “Every single person behind this organization has been impacted by a pediatric brain tumor diagnosis, making our commitment to improving outcomes for all children with brain tumors unsurmountable.”

The TCS New York City Marathon is one of the city’s most anticipated and iconic annual sporting events, attracting runners and spectators of all backgrounds, ages, and abilities from around the world. More than 50,000 runners are expected this year after the race returned to full capacity last year.

Each participant is required to raise a minimum of $5,000 for our charity and pay their own race registration fee. In return, each runner will be provided with a Team CBTP shirt, a marathon prep kit, a designated location for your “cheer squad” to rest on race day, detailed training plans, weekly check-ins, the option to speak with our licensed trainer/nutritionalist, and a thoughtful team to help with their fundraising leading up to the race.

The NYRR Official Charity Partner Program offers an opportunity for nonprofit organizations to raise funds to support their missions and services. Participating charities can offer guaranteed entry to runners who fundraise on their behalf. Since its inception in 2006, the TCS New York City Marathon Official Charity Partner Program has raised more than $440 million for more than 1,000 worthy nonprofit organizations across the globe.
